Smoked Buttery Garlic Prawns
THE INGREDIENTS
15 Large Prawns
½ Cup Butter
1 Clove Garlic, Minced
2 Sticks Rosemary
1 Tablespoon Rub of Your Choice
¼ Lemon, Squeezed
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pre heat Smoker to 135c/275f
- Rinse prawns, remove poop shoot, and remove shell leaving the tail.
- Sprinkle with Rub.
- Place Prawns in a foil pan in a single layer.
- Melt butter and add garlic and stir, pour melted butter and garlic onto prawns, squeeze lemon over prawns and place rosemary in pan with prawns.
- Put your tray in to your Smoker over indirect heat for 20-25 minutes. Prawns will turn from opaque to orange when cooked
- Internal temp for prawns should be around 52c/125f, if you overcook they will turn rubbery.
