Smoked Buttery Garlic Prawns

THE INGREDIENTS

  • 15 Large Prawns

  • ½ Cup Butter

  • 1 Clove Garlic, Minced

  • 2 Sticks Rosemary

  • 1 Tablespoon Rub of Your Choice

  • ¼ Lemon, Squeezed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre heat Smoker to 135c/275f
  2. Rinse prawns, remove poop shoot, and remove shell leaving the tail.
  3. Sprinkle with Rub.
  4. Place Prawns in a foil pan in a single layer.
  5. Melt butter and add garlic and stir, pour melted butter and garlic onto prawns, squeeze lemon over prawns and place rosemary in pan with prawns.
  6. Put your tray in to your Smoker over indirect heat for 20-25 minutes. Prawns will turn from opaque to orange when cooked
  7. Internal temp for prawns should be around 52c/125f, if you overcook they will turn rubbery.
