Pork Belly Twists
THE INGREDIENTS
- 2kg Pork Belly with Skin
- Your Favorite Pork Rub
- Flake Salt
- Olive Oil
- Wooden Skewers
INSTRUCTIONS
- Put your skewers into tray of water and soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Pre-heat your BBQ to 220c.
- Score the Pork Belly skin just to below the skin.
- Rub the skin with Olive Oil.
- Sprinkle salt over the scored skin.
- Cut Pork Belly into 1cm strips.
- Lay strips on a chopping board and sprinkle with you rub.
- Twist the strips length ways tightly.
- Skewers the twisted pork strips.
- Place the skewers onto a wire rack.
- Cook at 220c until golden and crispy.
- Take off the BBQ and sprinkle with salt to taste.
