Pork Belly Twists

THE INGREDIENTS

 
  • 2kg Pork Belly with Skin
  • Your Favorite Pork Rub
  • Flake Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • Wooden Skewers

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Put your skewers into tray of water and soak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Pre-heat your BBQ to 220c.
  3. Score the Pork Belly skin just to below the skin.
  4. Rub the skin with Olive Oil.
  5. Sprinkle salt over the scored skin.
  6. Cut Pork Belly into 1cm strips.
  7. Lay strips on a chopping board and sprinkle with you rub.
  8. Twist the strips length ways tightly.
  9. Skewers the twisted pork strips.
  10. Place the skewers onto a wire rack.
  11. Cook at 220c until golden and crispy.
  12. Take off the BBQ and sprinkle with salt to taste.
